Oh and also make sure that Steam is running. Now, you just have to start your game from the desktopusing the shortcut instead of going through Steam. Make a Desktop Shortcut using “ModLauncherWPF” from your “XCOM 2\Binaries\Win64\Launcher” Folder.Īfter you’ve made the Shortcut to your desktop, open up the shortcut’s properties then go to direct access from there you have to add “-noRedScreens -review” (Without the quotation marks )after the address where it leads. Alternative Way to Make Them Work Using The Old Launcher (Much Easier) The problem is that when a game is uninstalled and later reinstalled, there appears to be no way that I can find to download the workshop items again without unsubscribing and then re-subscribing to each and every one. Unfortunately, if you want to use the new launcher, then you have to do this every time you download another mod from the workshop. Subscribing to the mod triggers a download as does any updates to it by the mods author. After you’ve done this, launch up the game with the new launcher and select the mods you’d want to use and that’s it.
